EXALTING the Savior

We exalt our Lord and Savior through a variety of ministries at Mt. Pleasant. We give Him all the glory, honor and praise for the great things He has done.

"Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength; so will we sing and praise thy power."  (Psalm 21:13).

EVANGELIZING the Sinner
The number one priority and mission of the church is to witness to unsaved souls. Mt. Pleasant is committed to teaching about and carrying out the Great Commission.

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth, Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

EQUIPPING the Saints
As a component of our Mission Statement, equipping the saints of God is a Critical aspect of preparing and advancing the Kingdom of God. Teaching biblical truths and principles are necessary and essential in order for Christians to grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
 
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)
